The colours in this advert are corespondent with each other, providing a visually appealing contrast. This will entice audiences through the thought of presentation as the advert/album cover presents a tranquil appeal. The bold text as to which the artists name is in suggests confidence from the artist as it stands out and may inspire young audiences; who are still discovering themselves as individuals.
The advert has purposely been created with a minimalist feel, concentrating heavily on the artist and the release of her album. The use of a minimalistic advert also allows the audience to not feel overwhelmed by texts and images and allows them to concentrate on the what the advert says and who the artist is. Less information to take it will also allow the audience to take it in and remember which means they are more likely to go and pre order the new album and generally purchasing her music. The simplistic theme of the advert is also due to the genre of music the artist releases and also due to her song being straight to the point.

Like many album covers and adverts, a direct mode of address is used which directly connects the artist with the audience and giving an intimate feel as though the audience personally know the artist. This is through a cool toned colour scheme throughout the advert and the placing of the artist and the clothing she is wearing. She is not seen as voyeuristic in this image as she is dressed very clean cut unlike of genres who use women to attract their audience such as RnB. Therefore this will make the artists target audience want the purchase her album as she isn't inappropriate. Due to the artists image being placed in the center of the advert, there is a slight concealment of the artists name; which suggests she is a established artist as it is expected that the audience will already know who she is through her face\appearance.

At the bottom of the advert there is a website 'lanadelrey.com', therefore this is promoting the artist further, spreading awareness of the artists future image and releases. Therefore this website may include merchandise the artist is selling and dates of her tours. This is in a blue font which contrasts against the white blouse that the artist is wearing, as due to it being important information it needs to stand out to an extent.
