Rejected Digipak Ideas

I didn't use this for my final Digpak back cover because it doesn't look professional enough, due to only having the song list on makes it look unrealistic as usually digipaks have barcodes etc. Also the colours used are very dark; which wont help to promote as it will not catch the target audiences eye. And the main image is blurry and doesn't represent my band to its full potential.

After making this full digiak I decided to ask for feedback on it as I wasn't entirely sure it suited the genre and my band. I received the feedback that the main image on my front cover didn't represent my band and music video well enough. This was because the clothing the female is dressed in didn't suit the indie genre conventions and also the pose didn't represent my band to be fun and quirky; which it was I was aiming to portray. Furthermore, the front cover, back cover and CD cover didn't fit the theme of the two inserts, as the inserts show a fun and is also editing differently, making them all not fit as one.
